Mustang Energy Drink

Project: Mustang energy drink was a spec I did with the idea of creating an advertising campaign around a product in a market this is pretty saturated. How could I make this drink different in its advertising or at least stand out. From the initial design to the slogan, and basing the ads around that slogan for different audiences. I also researched interviewing a number of people getting there feedback on designs and ads as if they were customers.

The final product after a many explorations. 255mg of caffeine kick!

The first ad would serve as a default that could be used anywhere. The horse representing the mustang and product name.

The football ad would be advertised on billboards near football (soccer) stadiums targeting that audience. The exciting imagery supports the slogan: let the wild side out.

The motorcycle advertisement has a vintage cool factor. Not your typical racing image. It’s unusual and memorable. This could be advertised as an alternative to the default horse ad.

The lady ad is targeting women. It could be advertised in Cosmopolitan as an example. It is also a bit bold and again plays on the wild side slogan.

The copy is shorter but keeps the theme going. The product is front and center.

Another version for a wide billboard. The layout is minimal and has impact.

Showing a few of the many ideas that were used. It was originally going to be a unicorn soda for children. The texture had multiple iterations.
