The client had a mobile app already but was not functional. They wanted a full upgrade with new features and user research to understand what the users needs.
What we did: User interviews were conducted used to build personas to see who are target was. Surveys of the customer user base to find out what was important to them or difficult. A competitive analysis of similar sites for a visual and feature set. A mood board and wires and visuals with weekly meetings and iterative process.
Result: The finished product was a complete upgrade, visually and features. In user testing it got great feedback from buyers and sellers with some revised changes made for the final release which is being developed right now by the company.
